How to Care For Your Clothes?

The basic thing you should custom is:

Do not fling your clothes on to any old chair, or crush them into the wardrobe.
Always hang up dresses, coats and jackets.

How to keep your clothes clean

Here are some solutions for removing base stains:

Black coffee - Stretch the stained area over a bowl. Pour boiling water through and wash thoroughly.
Milk, white coffee, cocoa - Make a paste with borax and water - spread on the soiled areas and leave overnight. Wash wholly the next day.

Grease and oil - Place the spot on blotting paper. Make a ring colse to it with cleaning fluid such as carbon tetrachloride on cotton wool. Rub the area moderately with the cleaning fluid. Rust - Stretch the stained area over boiling water, and rub lemon juice over the stain. Rinse well.

Blood - Soak immediately in cold salty water; then wash in warm soapy water - rinse and dry.

Wine Stains - Hold the soiled area in a minuscule boiled milk until the stain has approximately vanished. Now wash in the normal way. Or use a composition of salt and lemon juice and rub into the area and then wash thoroughly.
Tea - Soak overnight in borax and water. Then wash in the normal way.

For cotton and linen fabric, rub the affected area with raw lemon and allow drying under the direct glare of the sun. Otherwise, place the garment in a warm place until dry.

Remember to remove wet clothing as soon as possible. Shake it and place it on a hanger to dry in a warm place. Stuff wet shoes with newspaper and dry them away from heat or they may crack and go out of shape.
